Nice race with a couple former stakes runners headed to the gate. Musician’s Pride has been beating some of these like a drum and is in very sharp form. He’s the deserving 9-5 favorite.
I like #1 Carl’s Smart in here. Musician’s Pride handled this one when the met last, but I think today’s race is going to favor Carl’s Smart. Carl’s Smart makes his 2nd start off a layoff and should get a nice trip with a field that seems to have some pace.
