Getting caught up on some stories and what have you today and I started looking the results and entries for the recently improved Penn National.
It appears the racing is really on the improve with the new purses. Bob Seeger, Steve Klesaris and Dale Capuano all entering horses. Frankie Pennington, Maria Charles, and Kendrick Carmouche riding.
Tomorrows opener is for 50k claimers and the field is pretty stout. It is kind of odd to see a 50k claimer on a card with 2500 claimers littered throughout.
I’m sure the Maryland racing officials are also excited to see the improvement …
