Tampa

Race 6 -

1st 6 ROYAL REGAN $10.60 $4.80 $3.00

Race 9 -

Ever and Anon was pinched at the break which virtually eliminated her at 5-1 as she does her best on the front end.

Race 10 -

Syncopation just isn't the same horse he once was over the Tampa turf course and faded to about 5th at 13-1.

Fair Grounds

Race 5 -

Pay Now runs poorly but got no help from J. Campbell. Broke a step slow, rushed 3 wide through an opening 1/4 of 21.3, three wide every step of the turn, done at top of stretch. Well done.

Race 7 -

Trisha's Silver runs a strong 2nd but the winner was ultra impressive making up a huge amount of ground through the stretch.

2nd 2 TRISHA'S SILVER $3.60 $3.20

Laurel Race 9 -

Gattopardo, who improved sharply in his latest, drew off while my two selections didn't do much running.

Aqueduct Race 8 -

1st 1 MALIBU MOONSHINE $31.60 $10.20
2nd 3 TEMPORARY SAINT $7.20

I beat Daheer 1-5 but because Chucky decided to take both himself and Daheer out instead of stalking I lose to the longest shot on the board. Thanks.

Gulfstream Park

Race 9 -

Sir Whimsey upset the GP Park Handicap at a nice price in a 5 horse field.

1st 4 SIR WHIMSEY $9.00 $4.60 $2.80

Santa Anita

Race 7 - El Gato Malo ran 2nd, beaten by Colonel John and really Flores was outridden by Gomez.

2nd 1 EL GATO MALO $2.20 $2.10

Race 8 -

Neither Storm Military nor War Monger really threatened when it counted here. War Monger was grossly overbet at 1-1. How about Ever A Freind. Ultra impressive through the stretch, another Mike Mitchell claimer to graded stakes winner resurrection project. I'm kicking myself for not being on board.

Race 9 -

Heatseeker won The Big Cap at a very generous mutual after another perfect Bejarano ride. Big Booster was nowhere at 33-1 but he was stab.

1st 10 HEATSEEKER (IRE) $16.00 $7.00 $4.80

Not a bad day? 3 winners, two double digit payoffs. Beat a 1-5 but was run down by the longest shot on the board.
