Today we’ll head to Laurel …

For the play of the day today we’ll head to Laurel for the 8th race, a Non-winners of 3 lifetime allowance for older fillies and mares. Going to do something a bit different today. I like two horses in here and both should offer a bit of a price.

#1 Debbie’s Diamond is in good form and draws the rail with Napravnik aboard. Has been facing some decent foes and should get a nice trip stalking inside. She is actually the 5/2 morning line choice but I don’t believe she will be that short.

# 7 Miss Beverly ships in from Philly for Martin Ciresa and gets Pino. Seems to enjoy Laurel and should get a nice outside stakling trip from just off the pace. Ciresa usually means business when he ships in and Pino being lured makes her that much better.

Seems to be a pretty open race, #3 Oelectra needs to get pushed a bit for us to have our best chance, not sure who is going to be the one to do that.

Play of the day …

$25 to win on both Debbie’s Diamond and Miss Beverly race 8 at Laurel.

So we bet the 6-5 favorite and a 6-1 long shot, both missed the board and ran pretty terrible. Just a poor performance by not only the horses but myself.
