Starting Bankroll = $1000

We’ll get the play of the day rolling again at the Big A today …

The feature on the card is the Rare Treat for older fillies and mares.

#3 Aliysa, #4 Runway Rosie, #5 Stage Luck and #6 Wild Hoots look like the main contenders.

#3 Aliysa comes off a win in the Squan Song. She goes out for Pletcher/Dominguez and will be forwardly place. Unlike in her last 3 tries, I believe she’ll face pressure today. #4 Runway Rosie faced both Stage Luck and Aliysa three back and couldn’t handle either of those rivals. Late runner is in good form but might leave herself too much to do late. #6 Wild Hoots comes in off a win in the Nellie Morse at Laurel, as well as a blowout allowance win at the Pha. Like Aliysa, she has enjoyed easy, clear leads over speed favoring surfaces in those efforts and today I believe she will have to track or duel with Alyisa.

Our choice is #5 Stage Luck, who handled both Runway Rosie and Alyisa in her last effort. She should get the jump on Runway Rosie and ran down Alyisa when they met, even after that foe got things her own way. May move forward a bit, 2nd off the break and should be in a good spot behind the two leaders.

 Play of the day:

Seems we have found that losing streak I’ve been waiting for. Stage Luck never looked to be running well enough to win and was out of it on the far turn. I guess the she has only started 5 times in her career for a reason.
